Our French breads have an attractive appearance that is sure to stimulate your appetite. When squeezed, their golden brown crust crackles. Their yeasty aromas are a little bit sweet, a little bit toasty. There is a good marriage between their crust and interior "La Mie", or crumb. The crumb is pillow soft and when pressed, it springs back rapidly. The color of the crumb is off-white and the cavities are widely distributed and uneven in size. Their nutty, buttery taste is both sweet and savory.
